It's true, I have an eye for Mercedes Benz vehicles and fine Rolex watches, yet I drive a Nissan and wear cheap replica watches, ha!  But what I truly love is my wife, Nellie, and my family of three children and five grandchildren.

What I am serious about, however, is helping people take their next step in their own life journey towards God and genuine happiness. I have been at this work of pastoring for 40+ years mostly in other countries-- namely, the Philippines for 18 years, then later in Ukraine, Belarus, Guatemala and even Iceland for a bit. During that time God used me to help plant a number of churches, found a Bible seminary and a christian school and to teach in a number of other seminaries training preachers and church leaders. Watching God do these things has been amazing! I have watched Him heal countless lives and bring joy out of extreme brokenness. What a God!

But, honestly, out of all that, what I enjoy doing the most, is setting down with people, one on one or with a family, no matter who they are or what shape their life may be in, and then helping them see what God would call them to in their next step in their life journey.

Hi, my name is Alvin Jack Clamp. I am an elder here at Life Lift Church. All my life I have been working to make a million dollars. But you see I am now on my third million. You ask why? Because I gave up on the first two million, and the third time is a charm.

My first love in life is the Lord Jesus Christ. My second love is my wife Florena, also known as Flo. I and an ordained minister, and I love to preach and teach the Word of God.
